Shane and Mattea – I am so pleased that I began having riding lessons with you when you first came to Toowoomba 7 years ago. Back then, I had a big horse that was resisting my aides and was not going forward. Thanks to your expert tuition and support he has developed into a responsive and competitive eventing horse. "I first met Shane and Mattea Davidson at the Queensland Dressage Festival in 2012. I was so impressed how well they had trained their showjumping horses.  Their emphasis on training these magnificent animals in Dressage was so impressive and this proved to enhance their horses jumping skills.  But the main selling point for me was how soft they were with their horses.
As I had recently purchased a young horse, Minnie, I decided to enquire about the possibility of the Davidson’s training her and to give her some competition experience. Minnie has never been easy to ride; she is a mare with her own opinion, and hates being told what to do.  I was delighted when Shane and Mattea agreed to take Minnie onboard. I was both amazed and delighted in the progress they made with her in just one week.
Mattea’s added expertise as a vet was also valuable when there was something wrong with my horse.
I value their expertise and their efficient, gentle and hospitable manner in which they trained this young horse.  I still appreciate their support and advice when I’m at competitions, including accompanying me to walk the showjumping course, cross country course, and warm up for the Dressage test etc. I hope to continue to utilize their expertise for Minnie and my future horses."
